Our ignition leads are designed and manufactured to meet, and often improve, on the original equipment specification. Once again we have added more applications for performance and classic vehicles. Key features of our performance ignition leads:
The cable used in our products is either 8mm dia. all silicone insulated cable with a Ferroflex® wirewound reactive core or a 7mm dia. all silicone cable with a tinned copper conductor - the application will determine which we recommend. Both cable types are rated for operating temperatures up to 220deg. C and guarantee electrical integrity in excess of 35kv.
Our Ferroflex® ferromagnetic, wire-wound reactive core guarantees excellent spark quality through the stainless steel wire winding while suppressing 99.9% of all electromagnetic interference. The resistance is 5.6kohm per metre (nom).
All of the materials and components used to manufacture our leads are of the highest quality designed to meet, or exceed the original manufacturer's performance and are closely matched to the original design for ease of fitting and cosmetic appearance. Both the cable and lead sets are all manufactured here in the UK. |
